Using Pear Launch
Launching a coin
Launching takes one transaction and costs only the network fee.
Steps
- Choose a chain: Robinhood Chain or Solana.
- Choose what it pairs with. This is the asset people pay with and receive when they trade your coin, and it can't be changed later. Each pair shows its issuer's powers and any transfer fee. See pair assets.
- Add the details: a name (up to 32 characters) and a ticker (up to 10: letters, numbers and $ . _ -). An image, description and website, X and Telegram links are optional; coins without an image show their ticker.
- Optionally make the first buy. It happens in the same transaction as the launch, so no one can buy before you.
- Sign in your wallet. Your coin is live as soon as the transaction confirms.
What you get
- A token with a fixed supply of 1 billion. No one can mint more, and there is no owner who can change it.
- A bonding curve selling about 80% of the supply. The rest is reserved for the exchange pool at graduation. See the bonding curve.
- 30% of the trading fees on your coin's curve. See creator rewards.
Images and names
Images can be PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP, up to 4 MB. Images are checked automatically, and names and tickers are checked against the community rules. Coins that impersonate brands, companies or people, including "official" tokens for a stock, aren't allowed. See safety and moderation.
Your image and details are stored at an address that never changes, and the coin records that address on-chain at launch. They can't be edited afterwards.
On Solana each wallet can launch up to 10 coins per hour.
